Customer Contact Centre Comes to Council Offices

Rossendale Borough Council’s Revenues and Benefits Contact Centre is moving to Futures Park. The service, currently delivered in Coventry, will still be operated by Capita on behalf of the Council.

The contact number will change to the Council’s main switchboard number 01706 217777 from February 1st 2016.

Cllr Barbara Ashworth, Portfolio Holder for Customer Services, said; “It is important for us and our residents to have locally delivered services and this represents a positive move in that respect. We’ve worked hard to make sure the move is as seamless as possible so that our residents are not adversely affected.”

The move will provide a more collaborative service from the Council for our residents, coming direct from the Council offices where staff will have strong, local knowledge.

The move will also save the Council a considerable amount of money and it is one of the key steps we are taking to meet our budget pressures, whilst maintaining excellent service standards for our residents.
