The vast majority of your Council Tax ( 86%) funds County Council and Police and Fire Services in Lancashire. As a borough council, we retain less than 15p in every pound paid. 71p in every pound goes to Lancashire County Council, which has responsibility for social care. The cost to households for all the services Rossendale provides is, on average, about £3 a week.
